Building Better Boards.
A high performing Board can significantly impact on an organisation’s performance.
As organisation’s continue to evolve, the value and approach of Board’s is shifting. Report reading and focusing on compliance is no longer enough. They need to ask themselves how do they meaningfully support and drive organisations who focus on leadership, learning, collaborative working and creating impact?
Developing a strong culture at Board level, like any form of cultural development, is not something that can be reduced to linear templates and checklists – it is always evolving and mindset driven.
My tools therefore, whilst providing clear evaluation, are also starting points for discussions. They are not intended to tell the complete story, and my goal with any organisation I support, is to promote shared understanding and learning, connect with other areas of the organisation’s work and identify where improvements can be made, all the time recognising that learning is a process and will evolve over time.
I adopt a practical appreciate-inquiry approach based on my experience and know-how, using models for meaningful evaluation.
They ensure a strong foundation of compliance but look beyond to support Boards evolving into future-fit purposeful teams.
